Step by Step
1
Ink up the bauble stamp very lightly with the watermark inkpad. Ink over the top of the watermark with the brown dye ink. This will create a pigment ink which is slightly lighter than the natural colour of the dye ink.
2
Stamp the bauble onto an offcut of cream cardstock. Use the holographic powder on the bauble to emboss.
3
Colour your baubles using the Papermania vintage markers and a waterbrush. Scribble the markers onto a non absorbent material, and pick up the colour with the waterbrush. To add shading, go over a couple more times to darken.
4
Take the smaller oval die and cut an aperture into the blank area towards the bottom of the bauble panel. Use the brown pen around the edge of the aperture. Shade the edges of the panel with brown ink.
5
Stamp the greeting in brown ink onto an offcut of cardstock and mount behind the aperture with 3d foam pads.
6
Mount the finished panel onto layers of green and red cardstock, which has a 3mm border on each layer. Leave to one side.
7
On the base card, Ink up the bauble from the stamp pack with the watermark inkpad and stamp randomly across the top and bottom corners. Emboss with holographic powder.
8
Measure the bottom right and top left corners of the card 7cm in and 7cm down. Draw a mark in pencil.
9
Cut a piece of 9 ½ cm red paper from the Christmas time pack and tear the edges. Decorate with strips of gold paper and green paper, tearing as desired. Mount this strip in between the pencil marks on the card blank using double sided tape. Trim the edges.
10
Draw around the embossing powder pot on the opposite undecorated corners and trim to round off.
11
Attach the finished bauble panel centrally onto the front of the card.
12
Finish the card by applying iridescent adhesive gems.
