DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Fold Scarlet cardstock to make a card measuring 10.5cm by 14.5cm (with the fold on the left). Place the front of the card inside the embossing folder allowing the back of the card to act as a shim behind the folder (and therefore increasing the depth of the embossing). Remove and sand the raised areas.

2

Use the Quickutz Christmas tree die to cut the parts of the tree from Apple Green, Fern and Cappuccino cardstock. Ink the edges of each section and arrange to the left hand side of the card.

3

Add a Forever Friends element topper on the right hand side of the card. Add the greeting topper at the top.

4

Accent your card with additional silver gems.

Scrapbooking satisfies my daily need for a creative outlet, it complements my other loves, photography and my Newfoundland dogs perfectly!
