DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Cover the box with Core’dinations pale blue card (or alternatively paint with blue acrylic paint). Wrap a length of Anita’s dotty ribbon around the rim of the lid.

2

Attach a selection of Craft Planet Fun Foam Stickers around the base, leaving room in the centre for a Craft Planet 3D dinosaur sticker.

3

Attach five 3D dinosaur stickers to spare blue card and cut around leaving a slight border. Leave a tab of card attached below the feet in every case. Score just below the feet and fold at right angles to make a stand-up character. Attach the tab to the lid of the box. Stand the taller dinosaurs at the back and the shorter ones towards the front. Repeat this technique for the palm tree stickers to create stand alone trees. Position between the dinosaurs.

4

Add flat coloured stickers of eggs and foliage to the lid of the box to finish.

5

This is ideal as a gift box to give a friend a present or as a decorative box for your bits and pieces. Or why not try making a slot in the top of the box and use as a money box? (Adult supervision required to cut the slot!)
