Step by Step

1

Cut out the small fringe in cream and cut in half. This will create the centre of the flowers. Cut the crystanthemum petals in pale pink papers. Attach the chrysanthemum to the end of the fringe.

2

Using your quilling tool, shape the quiling die cuts and stick the ends with a spot of tacky glue. Shape your flower between your fingers. Repeat this to create two flowers.

3

Use the smaller fringe to create a few little flowers to dot around the design.

4

Cut pink card to 5” square and a piece of blue spotty paper to 4 ¾” square. Layer together onto the top of your card base.

5

Cut another layer of pink to 4” and a layer of designer paper to 3 ¾ inches. Cut the pink cardstock to an angle across the bottom, repeat with the designer papers. Attach to the base card with 3D foam pads.

6

Take the silver swirls and place on the top layer of the card. Attach your flowers around the design using the silicone glue. Cut some leaves from green paper from the pack and shape. Stick in place.

7

Cut your pink scallop circle for the greeting. Make a pricked hole in each scallop. Layer your greeting onto the top and attach to the bottom right of the design as shown.

Hi. I'm Jo and I'm delighted to be a designer for 'do crafts'. I have been crafting for many years, my interest starting with cross stitch and continuing onto card making around 5 years ago, recently being able to have some work published and winning competitions. I started with the shoebox of goodies like everyone does, and this has gradually taken over my house. I love card making and scrapbooking and can't wait to give you all an insight into crafting.
