Thanks ladies, I hope some people benefit from this - all is not lost! For the rest of us who have been there I hope you appreciate the tongue-in-cheek and laugh along with me over the times we go through this and it all comes good in the end! Kettles at the ready gals!

I think this is a really good tip. The amount of times I have got all fussy as something has gone wrong but now I take your advice and it all just flows much better. Good points well made :)

So true, the amount of times I've started off with one idea and the end product is nothing like it! I've also discovered lots of ways to hide "mistakes". Very rarely do I have to throw away a complete project.
