And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Trim cream of wheat core’dinations to measure 10 x 14 cm and stamp the small and large doodle flowers randomly with watermark ink and heat emboss with clear powder. Fix to the front of a white A6 card blank and out to one side.

2

Cut white cardstock to measure 7.5 x 12.3 cm and again stamp randomly with the large doodle flower stamp using dune ink from the rich rustics eye queue and emboss with clear powder. Apply Turquoise and Olive Vivid inks to a non- porous surface and pick up colour with a wet paint brush. Apply to the flowers as shown creating a variegated effect within the image. Keep working with the colour until you are happy. Add a trio of dots to the panel as shown, applying turquoise ink to the dots within the button stamp. Mount the panel onto fern core’dinations, then black cardstock leaving an approx. 2mm border.

3

Stamp the Happy Birthday circle stamp and the small doodle flower within in black ink and heat emboss with clear powder. To cut around the greeting I used a compass to draw a circle so that a small border around the wording was left. Cut out with scissors. Colour the flower as before and ink the edges with brown ink and a cosmetic sponge.

4

Apply a length of wide organza and satin teal ribbon to the panel, tying a knot around the satin ribbon as shown. Fix the flower panel to the card as shown using 3D foam pads. Attach the greeting circle to the right of the ribbon using 3D foam pads. Attach adhesive stones (gold stones coloured with brown permanent pens) to the centre of the flowers to finish.
