Step by Step

1

Thread 6 turquoise beads onto headpins. Turn each end to a wrapped loop. Attach 5 beads to the bottom of the pendant and one at the top using jump rings to secure each in place.

2

Thread pairs and single beads onto eye pins. Turn each end to a loop. Join together using jump rings to make two matching strands.

3

Join the two strands at the bottom using three split rings. Attach the pendant section using another split ring.

4

Join the other ends of the necklace using a length of chain. If you make your necklace nice and long you will not need a clasp!

I've joined up because I love beading and making jewellery - the design aspects and the craftsmanship. My background is in textile design and ever since I was a kid I've enjoyed crafting. I work full time in teaching. Over the years I've had a go at many many crafts, particularly textile based ones. I bought my first sewing machine out of my earnings from my first Saturday job and have sewn ever since. I enjoy interior design as well.
