Step by Step

1

Trim 5x7” panel of plain kraft card. Cut orange patterned paper slightly smaller in size. Roughen and ink the edges of both using complementary shade to give a worn look.

2

Adhere the orange paper to the kraft panel and add faux white stitching round the edge.

3

Die cut the largest scalloped oval in sugar pink. Punch holes and ink the edge in orange, before centering with a plain oval die cut in green. Again match the back panel with faux white stitching before adhering centrally using 3d foam.

4

Punch holes and add a twisted raffia hanger as shown.

5

Layer up your chosen fairy decoupage designs, before attaching either side of the scalloped panel. Tuck an inked Parkstone Pink Big Bloomer behind the left character.

6

Add the name for the hanger using cardstock alphabet stickers, adding a central floral design made with capsule blitters and adhesive gems.

7

Complete the design with a ribbon bow to the top of the panel and mini polka dot buttons.

Hi there! My earliest memory of crafting is sitting with my Nan embroidering when I was tiny. Since then I’ve enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, & a multitude of paper-crafting techniques. I have been making cards for years but really became hooked when I was introduced to heat embossing. I’ve been addicted to paper, brads, ribbon, stamps, beads, wire…. ever since! I’m really looking forward to meeting you to show you what you can achieve with all the wonderful products available to you!
