Step by Step
1
Trim a little off the side of a tent fold square card so that it measures 13cm wide. Trim pink paper slightly smaller, ink the edges and glue to the front. Fold the front of the card inwards towards the spine and crease firmly.
2
Cover the inside with paper slightly smaller than the card. Ink the edges and glue in place. Make a panel to feature the second part of your message and attach inside as shown using 3D foam pads – this will support the upright part of the card later.
3
Add a row of gemstones at the bottom.
4
To decorate the front – Cut the front from a crown card blank (keep the other half to make another card!) Cover with spotty paper and cut out. Ink the edges.
5
Trim a strip of flower paper to measure 2cm by 13cm. Ink and glue at the bottom of the crown.
6
Staple some organza ribbon and raffia across the card covering the join in the papers. Knot some more raffia around the first strand.
7
Apply the bunting sticker at the top of the card.
8
Apply the celebrating bear onto acetate and cut out. Use 3D Dots to secure in place on the right hand side.
9
Add alphabet stickers as shown to complete the greeting and add mosaics to the points of the crown.
10
Glue the crown onto the fold of the square card to complete the easel card.
