i try to keep up to date records of the colours i have ,to save me from buying two of the same,i also need to keep track of what dyes i have

Great Idea, I am new to crafting and this will make my life so much easier, Thanks. I have started recording all my crafting stash..papers, embellishments ect so I know what I have. This has helped me so I dont go and buy the same thing twice. Tip for papers and card...I have used the folders with the clear inserts to store a small amount of each paper/card I have and noted on the front what each folder contains..makes it so easier to find the paper I want without having to go through everything. All the rest of the papers I have stored in a Plastic draw storage unit...then when I run out of what is in my folder I just refill it up again. Anything to make life easier and quicker is always a good thing.

Thank you Gill. I think this is a very good idea and will follow your example.I have often wasted time looking for a gel or marker pen only to find the colour is not as I expected.
