Save time finding colours by keeping colour swatches and numbering coloured pecils etc

I have started to keep a record of all the colours I have in embossing powders, inks, various paints, pencils, pens etc.. this really does save time when trying to match colours up...i.e to backing papers.
Some things look different on dark card i.e embossing powders and mettalic/irridescent paints etc so do swatches also on dark card.
Using a permanent marker pen number pencils and pens etc to match up with colour swatch... makes it fast to locate a colour.
