I have been interested in craft for many years and have dabbled in many different areas. I was a teacher for many years but am now retired from teaching but help my daughter in her childminding business which keeps me very busy. All the cards I make are sold for the charity that I am a trustee of. The charity was started by an ex-student of mine who is married to a Maasai warrior and it has built and maintains a school for the Maasai in Tanzania. If you are interested you can read all about the work being done there at www.serianuk.org.uk  They are also working towards eliminating female circumcision (FGM) and have had a lot of success with many FGM refugees being cared for at the school.I also set up the website for the charity - please take a look.www.serianuk.org.ukYou can also find my blog at yvonnescraftspot.blogspot.com
