Step by Step

1

Begin with a blue sheet of gemstone Core'dinations. Trim a sheet of Jaybird to measure 12.5cm high and glue horizontally across the page just below centre as shown.

2

Trim 3 strips of pale yellow gemstone cardstock to approximately 4.5cm wide by 20cm long and tear the bottom of each strip and add doodling detail with a white pen. Glue verticall in the centre of the page as shown.

3

Trim a sheet of yellow Whitewash cardstock to 29cm wide and tear the bottom edge so that it measures 11cm tall, sand and distress the edges. Glue across the page as shown.

4

Use QuicKutz dies to die-cut frames, swirls and flowers as shown. Arrange around a square photograph on your page as shown. Add further journalling detail and a cardstock sticker title.

5

Finish with ribbons, brads and gemstones to accent your page.

I have always been 'crafty' and while sitting with my gran when I was younger I admired all she did and said to myself that I wanted to create things like her. I am just a girl who has been let loose with paper and scissors. Can I make a mess ... You sure bet I can! I am a freelance designer for docrafts and enjoy creating projects for the Creativity! Magazine, Creativity! Club TV and demos.
