Step by Step

1

Use a Lilac card from the A6 pearlescent pack of Anita's cards. Position a Silver Glitterations Circle centrally and 2cm from the bottom of the card.

2

Choose your desired Floral and butterfly embossed stickers and attach to some spare card. Cut around the images.

3

Using 3D foam pads attach the flowers in the centre of the Glitterations Circle.

4

Shape the wings of the butterfly using a cocktail stiok. Using a cocktail stick, place peaks of Stick It Silicone glue on the card to the top right of the circle. Position the butterfly over the Silicone peaks, squashing the back wings to the card but leaving the front wings slightly raised. This gives added dimension and movement to the butterfly.

5

Add some highlights to the flowers and butterfly with Glitz It glitter glue. Finish the card by placing a greeting at the bottom of your card as shown.

I have been making cards for over 20 years. I would get up at 5am and make cards and pictures for two hours before going to work. Then after a full day in the office, I would come home, put a handful of biscuits on the floor for my two cats and quickly retire to my workroom for another two hours ‘crafting’ before making my evening meal. Nowadays I am so spoiled for choice in the type of card to make, that decoupage hardly gets a look in! I have been a designer with ‘do crafts’ for three years and get great pleasure from passing on hints, tips and advice to budding card makers and ‘crafty’ people of all ages.
