Step by Step

1

To make the earrings – Cut beading wire to measure 12cm. Fold nearly in half and thread through one of the holes on a flower charm. Secure with a crimp bead.

2

Thread on a green diamond shaped bead and secure with a crimp bead.

3

Thread a round blue bead onto each of the tails of beading wire and secure each at slightly different lengths with a crimp bead. Trim wire flush to these crimp beads.

4

Attach an earring finding to the other hole on the flower charm.

5

Repeat to make a second earring.

6

To make the necklace – To make the central drop element follow the instructions for making the earring (but do not add the earring finding).

7

Cut chain to your preferred length. Use a single link of chain to attach the drop element in the centre.

8

Add clasp to the ends of the chain and add an extender of finer chain so you can vary the length of the necklace. Add a head pin with a blue bead to the end of the extender to finish.

Hi there! My earliest memory of crafting is sitting with my Nan embroidering when I was tiny. Since then I’ve enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, & a multitude of paper-crafting techniques. I have been making cards for years but really became hooked when I was introduced to heat embossing. I’ve been addicted to paper, brads, ribbon, stamps, beads, wire…. ever since! I’m really looking forward to meeting you to show you what you can achieve with all the wonderful products available to you!
