This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Using the eggplant ink, stamp the large Thank You stamp all overthe background of the card blank

2

Add a strip of the purple check ribbon down each side of the card

3

On some spare lilac card stamp the bunch of flowers stamp using the eggplant ink. Stamp the image a second time on some scrap paper. Cut out the second image to act as a mask.

4

Place the mask over the stamped image. Ink up the rectangle stamp with the Lilac inkpad. Ink just the edges of the stamp using the eggplant inkpad. Stamp over the mask at the top of the image. Repeat for the lower half of the image. Remove the mask.

5

Mix a little of the acrylic paints with a little water and 'watercolour' the stamped image. Allow to dry.

6

Trim the stamped image to 8cm by 7.5cm. Layer on the purple handmade paper and trim to leave a 0.5cm border on each side. Stick to the front of your card.

Scrapbooking satisfies my daily need for a creative outlet, it complements my other loves, photography and my Newfoundland dogs perfectly!
