DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Place A6 card from the kit on to the Papermania A3 Self-Healing Cutting Mat, butted up to a straight line.

2

Count three boxes in from the left of the mat along the spine of the card, make a mark and cut from that point to the left hand corner of the card, then do the same on the right hand side.

3

Cut a rectangle of number patterned paper from the card kit to fit the top of the card, fold it in half and glue down.

4

Cut two slits in the card spine just wide enough to thread a length of ribbon through, to act as the handle. Secure the ribbon on inside of the card and cover the joins with paper.

5

To finish, add embellishments from the card kit, adhesive stones and a pink Me to You Especially For You Designer Brad in the centre of the flower.

Hi, my name is Cliona & I live in Bray in Co. Wicklow with my husband Gary & daughter Hannah. I have always loved arty things & little did I know when a friend introduced me to card making nearly four years ago that it would become my obsession! I teach card making & scrapbooking to both adults & children. I am beyond excitement to have been asked to be a demonstrator for Do Crafts & I can’t wait to meet you all at my demos.
