Step by Step

1

Cover an A6 white card with polka dot blue paper from the Papermania Blueberry pie capsule collection.

2

Punch the flower doily design continuously along the edge of light blue patterned paper and stick the strip across the top of the card.

3

Continuously punch the Flutterby Butterfly design in Core’dinations Royal blue card and stick a 3.5cm wide strip to white card. Trim slightly above the butterflies and along the bottom of the royal blue card. Stick to the bottom of your card.

4

Attach a length of satin polka dot blue ribbon along the bottom of the card and punch the flutterby design into the edge of white card. With a continuous design punch cut fractionally below the bottom of the butterflies and adhere the strip to the ribbon.

5

Add Anita’s gemstones in pale blue to each heart on the punched white butterfly border using the Stick It precision glue pen. Also add lemon gemstones to the centre of each punched flower design across the top.

6

Wrap a length of narrow blue organza ribbon around the card above the royal blue butterflies. Tie two matching organza bows and stick with Stick It! transparent excel dots to the sides of the ribbon.

7

On spare white card stamp the butterfly in blue ink onto smooth white card. Colour the design with Papermania pens and Papermania Colourburst markers. Use a wash to move the colour in places. Leave to dry. Cut to a rectangle, round the corners and mat onto Core’dinations Royal Blue card.

8

Repeat step 7 on more white card and leave to dry. Cut out, removing the head. Score along the sides of the body and bend the wings forwards. Stick the bodies together. Add royal blue adhesive stones to both sets of wings.

9

Punch the Flutterby design into royal blue card and snip out four butterflies. Stick to the corners of the Butterfly panel. Add two pale blue adhesive stones to the body of each.

10

Layer the panel with Stick It! 3D foam dots to the card. Apply Anita’s 3D clear gloss to the body of the stamped butterfly and leave to dry.
