I started card making about 7 years ago, it began when I went into a local shop to buy a birthday card for my friend, it was a lovely simple handmade one which I loved, when I got back home and wrote on it, I thought I can make one of these for a fraction of the price.I'm now a compulsive buyer of craft materials and probably spend twice as much making them!! I'm trying to think of some logic there but I can't.I retired from my job working in a Fine Art Saleroom in December 2008 when I reached the grand old age of 60 and now I have time to do what I want when I want and I'm loving it. (The photo was taken at my birthday party).I've been married to my husband Malcolm for 40 years and we have a son Mark who is 39 and a gorgeous 4 year old Chihauhau name Tooie.I feel lucky to say I'm loving my retirement.
