Trim yellow/orange patterned paper to measure 11cm by 19.5cm. Ink the edges and glue centrally onto an A5 red card blank (made from A4 Capsule Cardstock).
2
Trim yellow gingham paper to measure 13cm 11cm. Ink the edges and wrap red ribbon around the bottom, adding a knot on one side. Position centrally (do not glue down yet).
3
Trim orange spotty paper to measure 13cm by 2cm. Use scissors to snip 1cm into the strip all the way along to make a frill. Ink the edge and glue behind the yellow layer, gluing this in place also.
4
Print the image and colour in if you are using the black and white image. Trim to measure 12.5cm by 8.5cm and ink the edges. Glue just above the ribbon onto the yellow paper layer.
5
Trim a hand cut scalloped border from a pale yellow patterned paper to measure 15cm wide and about 2.5cm tall. Ink and then wrap spotty ribbon around, securing on the reverse. Glue in place at the top of the photo. Add some staples for decoration.
6
To make the pinwheel embellishment – trim two squares of contrasting patterned paper and stick them back to back. Cut from each corner of the square almost to the centre. Fold alternate triangles to the centre securing with glue in the centre. Add a large fancy brad to secure.
7
To make the swirl flower – Cut a circle of paper to measure about 6cm across. Cut into a spiral and shape in your hands to make a flower shape. Secure the end on the reverse and then glue in place on top of layered paper flowers.
8
Arrange the pinwheel flower and the swirl flower along with some lightly inked paper blooms to the left corner of the main image. Secure in place with glue and fancy Sweeties brads.
9
Punch several leaves from green cardstock. Tuck behind the flowers, gluing each into place.
10
Finish with a trio of gemstones.
