DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Trim Goody Goody Gumdrops paper to measure approximately 14cm by 9.5cm. Use a craft knife to remove the centre to form a frame of about 1cm thick. Ink the edges and glue onto an A6 card blank.

2

Apply the ‘Christmas’ word stickers along the bottom of the card starting at the end of the word to ensure you have space left on the left hand side.

3

Apply rub on lettering to spell out ‘Merry’ curving around the ‘C’ of ‘Christmas’.

4

Apply 3D foam pads to the reverse of the gingerbread house sticker. Apply on the right hand side of the card.

5

Apply a tree sticker next to the house, tucking the edge of the tree behind the house.

6

Apply 3D foam pads to the reverse of the mug sticker and add to the card above and to the left of the greeting.

Scrapbooking satisfies my daily need for a creative outlet, it complements my other loves, photography and my Newfoundland dogs perfectly!
