Step by Step

1

Cut Harborside coredinations to cover the front of a white card blank leaving a narrow border.

2

Similarly cut a piece of brown card to matt onto the Harborside. The “worn leather” effect can be achieved by crumpling up the card tightly and then flattening out. Softly brush Prussian Blue fluid chalk ink over the distressed card so that it just catches the creases. Pierce a border round the edge before attaching to the Harborside layer using the pokey tool and piercing mat.

3

Cut two pieces on cardstock – one Fern and one Harborside – 4cm x 11.5 cm. Use the small star clear stamp from the kit to create a background on the blue moss card and mirror the pierced edge on the brown card by drawing a dotty border using the fine end of a matching brush marker. Attach on the brown card off centre as shown.

4

Before creating the central panel, softly ink round the edges of the bottom Fishing Dandelion pyramage layer. Then adhere to Fern cardstock and trim to leave a narrow border. (The remainder of the pyramage design can be used to create another project.) Attach to the centre of the layered card panel using 3d foam tape.

Finally add two die cut fish as shown to complete the design.

Hi there! My earliest memory of crafting is sitting with my Nan embroidering when I was tiny. Since then I’ve enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, & a multitude of paper-crafting techniques. I have been making cards for years but really became hooked when I was introduced to heat embossing. I’ve been addicted to paper, brads, ribbon, stamps, beads, wire…. ever since! I’m really looking forward to meeting you to show you what you can achieve with all the wonderful products available to you!
