This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Apply a dotty pink and orange coloured border sticker across the centre of a landscape pink pearlised card blank.

2

Cut a piece of white pearlised card the same size as the front of a pink pearlised card blank. Cut a wavy line a few millimetres in from the edge of the white rectangle using a craft knife on a cutting mat. Remove the centre to reveal a frame. Glue the frame to the front of your card and save the off cut of white metallic card for later.

3

Apply coloured swirl stickers and silver dots above the coloured border line and clear stickers randomly below. Affix silver self adhesive gem stones to the centre of each of the clear stickers.

4

Apply four medium coloured tag stickers in a row to white pearlised card and cut to a rectangle measuring 2.5cm x 7cm. Add smaller alphabet tag coloured stickers on top of each of the original tag stickers. Add a self adhesive gem stone to each of the larger tags. Apply silver line outline stickers around the edge of the white card.

5

Mount this into pink card and trim around leaving a 1cm border of pink showing. Re-mount again onto spare white pearlised card and trim leaving a 2mm border or white showing. Attach the panel to your card using sticky foam squares. Position it so it overlaps the dotty line border.

6

Finish with the word ‘Luck’ created from the small round coloured alphabet stickers in the kit. These were applied to spare white pearlised card and cut out with scissors before attaching to the finished card with glue.

At Middlesex University, I did a BA Hons degree in Illustration before heading home to Dorset where I joined docrafts in the Creative department. I now enjoy creating craft projects and designing new products.
