Step by Step

1

Cut a little notelet into strips and glue it next to the picture as shown. Create the title using cardstock stickersas shown in the photo. Finally attach 3 brads in a diamond shape in the right corner to complete the lay-out.

2

Glue a piece of felt ribbon on the bottom of the photo. Cut petals from a sheet of acetate, then cut an oval shape out of a little notelet and add journalling. Use this as the center of a flower. Attach the petals and notelet onto the lay-out and affix in place with glue and brads, you can also add some felt ribbon to it as shown.

3

Draw diamond shapes in pencil on the back of the bottom sheet of patterned paper in your layout. This layout has used a sheet of cross-hatched Scrumptious paper.

4

Cut out 4 of the diamond shapes with a craft knife. Distress and ink the edges using brown ink. Attach a piece of acetate to the back of the sheet so that it covers the holes you have just cut as shown in the photo.

5

Cut out several diamond shapes from other pieces of scrumptious patterned paper. Glue them on top of the bottom sheet of paper to form a pattern. Mat 4 of the diamond shapes onto chipboard to raise them up a little to give the layout an extra dimension.

6

Cut your photo to size and mat it onto a sheet of Scrumptious paper leaving a small border around the edge. Ink the edge of the paper and stick to the layout as shown. Affix the photo in place using several brads as shown.

“The most important thing about scrapping is to tell the story of daily life and honour the people, places and things I love. My motto is ‘laugh out loud’!”
