Step by Step

1

Lay a piece of blue gingham Boofle paper on the right side of a cream and flower piece from the Boofle 12 x 12 paper pack.

2

Draw round the bottom edge of a plate or circular tray on the reverse side of the polka dot green paper. Freehand draw some scalloped edges and cut out. Add to the bottom section of the page.

3

Add some pink paper on top and add photo.

4

Add a pink Boofle Bloomer to the right of the photo and add the birthday present topper to the centre.

5

Cut strips of blue fabric paper and remove the sticky paper leaving you with just the fabric. Tie in a knot and add along with Boofle buttons vertically on the right side of page.

6

Cut some of the cardstock borders and add to top right corner.

7

Decoupage the ‘birthday’ phrase and add to right side of layout.

8

Stamp ‘Happy’ using the patchwork stamps in two different colour inks. Cut out and mat on cardstock. Add to layout, raising a couple up with foam pads.

9

Finish with the sun (from the Boofle foldie card pack), dimensional stars and journaling block.

I have always been 'crafty' and while sitting with my gran when I was younger I admired all she did and said to myself that I wanted to create things like her. I am just a girl who has been let loose with paper and scissors. Can I make a mess ... You sure bet I can! I am a freelance designer for docrafts and enjoy creating projects for the Creativity! Magazine, Creativity! Club TV and demos.
