Step by Step

1

Cut a 9 x 9cm square of white card and randomly stamp stars all over using Me to You blue dye ink.

2

Colour the larger stars in using grey, light blue and mid blue water colour pencils.

3

Highlight the edges of the square with blue fluid chalk and then place on to grey textured card leaving a narrow edge visible.

4

Cut a 10 x 10cm piece of grey Capsule collection patterned paper. Layer on to grey textured card and then stick the stamped star panel on top.

5

Ink the Tatty Teddy stamp with grey dye ink and gently ink around his fur outline with black dye ink.

6

Stamp the teddy on to white card then cut him out.

7

Stamp him again on to spare white card this time cutting out just his nose. Colour his nose blue and attach to the teddy’s face with 3d foam mini dots.

8

Colour the teddy’s patches with grey pencil then attach him to the starry panel using 3d foam dots.

9

Ink the ‘Happy Birthday’ stamp with blue ink on the top half and grey ink on the bottom half.

10

Stamp it on to white card then cut it in half, trim each piece, chalk the edges and layer both words on to separate pieces of grey card.

11

Using 3d foam dots, attach the words to Teddy’s hands as though he is holding them.

12

Cut two 1.5cm squares from grey card then cut them in half diagonally to form triangles. Cut slightly smaller triangles from the grey patterned paper and attach them to the larger triangles. Glue one in each corner of a white square card blank.

13

Using blue dye ink, stamp stars on to spare white card, cut them out and chalk the edges.

14

Stick letters on to each star to spell ‘BROTHER’ then attach each star to a very thin strip of grey card. Place these at different levels on to the back of the Teddy panel and secure with tape.

15

Place a 3d mini dot to the back of each star and then stick the square panel on to the card front making sure that the stars hang straight before securing them in place.

Hello, my name is Sheila and I am thrilled to be a ‘do crafts’ designer. I have been a keen crafter since childhood and now make my living from it. I demonstrate for docrafts and run my own craft groups and classes. I've have been making cards for approximately ten years and enjoy all aspects of creating and papercrafting. I like to spend lots of my time developing ideas and learning new techniques. Hopefully I will be able to share these with you and give you some inspiration when demonstrating all the wonderful products on offer
