Step by Step
1
Cut a 12 x 12cm square from striped paper, chalk the edges and stick to the front of a square card blank.
2
From the same paper, cut four 5 x 7cm strips and roll them up to resemble wallpaper.
3
Glue only three of these pieces to stop them unrolling. Then gently highlight the rolled edges with red chalk.
4
Unroll the fourth piece slightly and cut the two side edges a little curved.
5
Push out the die-cut oval ‘decorating bear’ from the sheet and edge with Aquamarine fluid chalk.
6
Stick it on to a 7 x 10.5cm piece of red spotty paper. Chalk the edges red and then layer on to a rectangle of aqua coloured Core’dinations cardstock, leaving a narrow edge visible.
7
Using double-sided tape, attach this panel to the left hand side of the card.
8
Mat and layer a ‘Happy Birthday’ greeting on to red then aqua card and attach to the top right corner of the card using foam dots.

10
Glue the three wallpaper rolls to the bottom left corner of the card at an angle. Now glue the half unrolled wallpaper to the bottom right corner.
11
Push out the ‘You’re the best’ banner and carefully trim off the little red sections. Highlight with red chalk and place on to the unrolled wallpaper using 3d foam mini dots.
12
Stick ‘DAD’ vertically along the left side of the card and draw around each letter carefully with a fine-tipped red marker.
13
Finally, edge the front of the card with Aquamarine fluid chalk.
