DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Hand draw and cut two circular rings and a circle from orange patterned paper (from the Born to Shop Nostalgia range), green cardstock and checked patterned paper (from the Boysenberry Capsule Collection).

2

Stamp over the green cardstock circle with the Starburst stamp using Tangerine ink.

3

Carefully distress the edges of each paper piece using the edge of the perforator Craft Buddy Tool. Glue in place.

4

Cut some additional strips of coordinating paper. Distress and align on the right hand side of the circles.

5

Punch a postage edge border using the postage punch, simply lining up the images to make a border from the Black and Gold patterned paper.

6

Position and secure this border along with some green ribbon, black raffia and a green border sticker (from the Craft Planet Waterfall stickers) across the page as shown.

7

Position two photos on the page as shown.

8

Trim 8 narrow bunting shapes and position at the top and bottom of the triangles as teeth.

9

Peel up and cluster some of the Halloween flat and dome stickers around the page to complete.

Scrapbooking satisfies my daily need for a creative outlet, it complements my other loves, photography and my Newfoundland dogs perfectly!
