This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Step by Step

1

Fold a black piece of A4 card in half, keep it landscape view.

2

Draw and cut out some balloon shapes on different pieces of coloured and patterned paper, make sure you have enough balloons to spell out ‘Happy New Year’.

3

Now stick on to your balloons the foam letters for ‘Happy New year ‘. Top tip – I have put the word ‘New’ onto one big balloon as it spaced out better on the card.

4

Once they are dry, place the balloon letters into position onto the card and stick them down. Top Tip – leave the bottom of the balloon slightly lifted so you can stick the string under each balloon.

6

Now you can decorate your card! Why not add silver and gold stars with the metallic pen, Glitter stars, Glitter glue and paper swirls, all to give the effect of New Year Fire works!

7

A bright, fun ‘Happy New Year’ Card, perfect to give in 2012!
