Step by Step
1
Cover a tall card with Deck the Halls plaid paper and trim off the excess.
2
Cut a piece of white cardstock to resemble snow and cover with white shimmer chalks before attaching to the bottom edge of the card.
3
Cut a piece of Core’dinations card to fit the along the left of the card and draw some large scallops along one edge. Cut along the scallops and then glue this strip in place overlapping the snowy strip.
4
Cut a strip of plaid paper slightly wider than your ribbon and attach to the scalloped piece using double-sided tape. Fix the length of ribbon on top of the plaid paper using double-sided tape and trim to fit.
5
Add white adhesive pearls to each scallop.
6
Place the large white Christmas tree sticker on to the Core’dinations card and cut it out. Place on to the card using 3D foam squares. Stick three more tree stickers flat onto the card along the snowy edge.
7
Cut a 3cm triangle from Core’dinations card, then cut a smaller triangle from it’s centre to resemble a photo corner. Glue to the top right hand edge of your card.
8
From the clear stamp set, stamp ’Have a Magical Christmas’ on to white card and cut round the greeting in a ’tag’ shape. Apply this onto the plaid paper and trim leaving a narrow edge showing. Repeat this using the Core’dinations card.
9
Glue a loop of ribbon to the back of the top of the tag and then add a blue gem to the centre of the star on the front.
10
Knot two short lengths of ribbon, then trim the edges and glue one to the tag and one to the bucket of the Christmas tree (as shown in the picture).
11
Fix the tag in place to the left of the card using 3D foam squares.
12
Add adhesive gems to the tree and finally edge all around the card with ’Dark Peony’ fluid chalk.
