Step by Step

1

Use the heart nesting dies to cut a heart shaped card blank, making sure the top fold of the card is intact.

2

Die-cut another heart from the blue heart paper and distress the edges lightly. Piece a border all the way around and add a faux blanket stitch border using a white gel pen. Ink the edges with blue ink.

3

Die-cut a smaller heart from the Boofle Fabric paper. Glue centrally onto the card.

4

Add a dot border using a white gel pen.

5

Wrap the floral ribbon twice around the heart shape and secure on the reverse. Glue this panel on the front of the card blank. Trim the bottom point of the back of the card away so that it stands up.

6

Peel up and apply 3D foam pads onto the reverse of the sticker. Apply to the left hand side of the heart.

7

Trim the Heartwarmers sentiment down and add a pierced border. Distress the edges and layer onto green floral Boofle paper.

8

Tie a bow from the floral ribbon and secure to the bottom right of the sentiment. Add a button to the centre. Position the sentiment to the right of the heart.

9

Cut some of the mosaic blocks and adhere with 3D foam pads in a cluster.

10

Add a border of adhesive stars to the top left of the fabric paper heart.

11

Squeeze some iridescent glitter glue onto your finger and smear over the raised and distressed edges of the layers to finish.

Hi there! My earliest memory of crafting is sitting with my Nan embroidering when I was tiny. Since then I’ve enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, & a multitude of paper-crafting techniques. I have been making cards for years but really became hooked when I was introduced to heat embossing. I’ve been addicted to paper, brads, ribbon, stamps, beads, wire…. ever since! I’m really looking forward to meeting you to show you what you can achieve with all the wonderful products available to you!
