Step by Step
1
Use the large cross adorned with lilies from the clear stamp set to make a meaningful focal point for a sympathy card.
2
Stamp the image onto white cardstock and colour, keeping to a subtle colour scheme, using your chosen medium. I used pastel tones of the Kurecolor Twin-S pens blending several tones of green for a natural look.
3
Ink the edges of the panel using Creamy Brown Fluid Chalk ink and put to one side.
4
Trim plain kraft cardstock slightly smaller than a white 5x7” card blank. Ink the edges and stitch a border.
5
Trim a panel of the Verde Capsule Collection patterned paper to measure 9.5x14cm and ink and roll the edges to give a distressed effect. Layer on top. Wrap green organza ribbon around this panel three times, securing on the reverse with some strong tape. Adhere the whole panel to the card blank.
6
Mount the stamped panel onto the front of the card using 3D foam pads at the top and bottom to straddle the ribbon layers.
7
Sand the surface of the gold dove outline sticker to match the distressed look of this project. Peel up and apply to one of the Verde papers positioning onto a less patterned area. Cut out and mount to the bottom left using 3D foam pads.
8
Spell out ‘in sympathy’’using the Pampered Pets cardstock alphabet stickers to complete.
