Step by Step
1
Cut a sheet of butterfly paper to measure 8x12 inches and rip 2 inches off the bottom, leaving you with a piece 8x10 inches. Stick to the left side of a sheet of red scalloped cardstock with the ripped piece at the bottom as shown.
2
Cut piece of small dotty paper to measure 6x12 inches. Rip about 3.5 inches off the bottom. Glue to the butterfly paper on the left hand side leaving a small border as shown.
3
Rip a 3 inch piece from a sheet of circle 12x12 inch paper. Cut off 1.5 inches and adhere to the bottom of your layout.
4
Cut a sheet of striped paper to measure 2x12 inches. Cut off 1 inch, leaving you with a 2x11 inch sheet and stick this through the centre of the circle paper.
5
Stick your photo to bottom centre of the layout.
6
Remove a page from an Acrylic Album and take off the protective film. Use baby wipes to apply paint to the edges of one side, this should help the paint to dry quickly.
7
Use an embossing stencil from the Lasting Impressions butterfly selection to emboss 3 flowers. Cut out and lightly sand. Place the acrylic page onto the layout with holes pointing to the left and the painted side facing down. Glue the flowers to bottom right of the acrylic page. Tie ribbon through the holes and adhere adhesive stones to the outside edge of the acrylic page in each of the ‘scallops’.
8
Place a few 3D foam dots on the painted side in line with the stones. Adhere acrylic page over the photo with ribbons to the left adding a few buttons either side of the acrylic page.
9
Use the foam alphaminis to create your title and finally add your jounalling on the right hand side as shown.
