Step by Step

1

To make the card - Cover a tall card with Forest cardstock.

2

Trim Summer Bloom paper to measure 9cm by 21cm and glue centrally.

3

Trim a panel of striped paper to measure 6cm by 15cm and layer onto white cardstock, trimming to leave a narrow border. Add a second panel of white card measuring 5cm by 13.5cm. Ink the edges with blue ink and glue to the striped paper. Mount the whole panel onto the card using 3D foam pads.

4

Add a Handmade Paper Lillies sticker centrally.

5

Stamp or print ‘Happy Birthday’ and mount at the top of the card.

6

Wrap ribbon around the spine of the card, tying in a bow.

7

To make the tag – Crimp the striped paper and glue at the bottom of a tag shape cut from Forest cardstock.

8

Apply a second piece of patterned paper above and add a doodled border with white gel-pen.

9

Cover the join with a few strands of raffia and a length of ribbon knotted around the tag.

10

Layer up some Summer Bloom paper flowers and attach to the tag with a large brad.

11

Punch a hole at the top of the tag and add some ribbon to finish.
