Step by Step

1

Trim your embossed card front to 14cm x 9.5cm. Cut a piece of red cardstock to 14.25cm x 9.75cm. Layer these two pieces onto the front of a C6 white card.

2

Draw a heart shape onto a piece of scrap paper. Using gold foiled paper from the Oriental pack, cut out a heart using your shape as a template. Mount onto red card and cut around using the scallop scissors.

3

Attach the heart to the front of the card using 3D foam pads. Place your lettering to the bottom of the card to spell your greeting.

4

Cut out large petals in red and the small petals in white. Stick the papers together before you start to quill the shapes. When quilled into flowers, stick the ends with a little tacky glue. Stick into place on your card with silicone glue when dry. Attach the pearls with silicone glue into the centre of the flowers.

5

Cut out some leaves and shape. Stick in place near each flower.

6

Finish the design with the adhesive gems.

Hi. I'm Jo and I'm delighted to be a designer for 'do crafts'. I have been crafting for many years, my interest starting with cross stitch and continuing onto card making around 5 years ago, recently being able to have some work published and winning competitions. I started with the shoebox of goodies like everyone does, and this has gradually taken over my house. I love card making and scrapbooking and can't wait to give you all an insight into crafting.
