DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Cut a piece of the lined petterned paper to measure approximately 16cm square. Tear the left hand edge and ink the cut edges.

2

Create a frame of the spotted paper to measure approximately 21.5cm by 14cm. Ink the edges and add both sections to your page.

3

Add a length of ribbon across the page.

4

Place the photo on top of the layers, roughly inside the frame.

5

Add a border of brads the star buttons down the left hand side of the photo.

6

Add a cluster of farbic flowers in the bottom right of the photo. Knot some of the fibres through buttons and add to the flower centres with 3D foam pads. Add a butterfly embellishment.

7

Add your title using the alphabet stickers. I've mounted the larger stickers first onto white card for a bit of added definition. Add an eyelet to complete.

Scrapbooking satisfies my daily need for a creative outlet, it complements my other loves, photography and my Newfoundland dogs perfectly!
