Step by Step

1

To make the necklace - Take a eye pin and add a silver bead followed by a long black faceted bead and a second silver bead. Bend the other end of the eye pin to make a loop. Repeat so you have 8 sections. Add a jump ring at both ends of each section.

2

Trim the chain so you have 3 sections each with 5 links. Join pairs of the beaded sections together with the chain in between.

3

Trim 6 pieces of leather cord each measuring 12cm. Secure three strands together using the clasps contained in the leather cord pack. Attach to the end of the beaded sections and add a simple clasp.

4

To make the drop pendant. Attach the black filigree pendant to a single chain link and attach to the centre link of the necklace.

5

Trim two lengths of beading wire to measure 15cm. Fold in half and add crimp bead near the fold to make a loop. Thread on silver bead followed by the large black bead and another silver bead. Add a crimp bead to secure in place and trim neatly to finish.

'do crafts' Member - I'm Ana and I'm from Chiclayo, Peru. I came here 5 months after marrying my husband Kevin. I've been card making for 4 years whilst I was still living in Peru and mainly made cards using vellum. When I came here I saw the huge variety of materials tha shops have for cardmaking. I love cardmaking because it's so relaxing and you can be as creative as you want.
