This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

On a strip of card print a border using the pattern stamp from the Papermania Birthday clear stamps.

2

Trim to 14.8 x 4.2 cm and mount onto a 4.8cm wide contrasting piece of card then wrap a length of ribbon around it securing the ends at the back. Adhere this strip towards the bottom of an A6 card.

3

Take a Papermania Elements parcel embellishment and mount it onto two contrasting pieces of card leaving a narrow border. Stick this towards the right hand side of the card strip using 3D foam pads.

4

Place a Happy Birthday peel off on the top left of the card. Finish with clear gemstones as shown.

Hi, I’m Christine and very excited to be joining the ‘do crafts’ team. I have been making things for as long as I can remember! As a child I made dolls houses from shoeboxes and furniture from matchboxes. I was always making something I have been a teacher, working mainly with nursery and infant age groups, so the making and doing was a constant aspect both at home and in my career. I have lost count of how many celebration cards I have inspired children to make over the years. I am looking forward to sharing ideas, tips and techniques with you so do come along and join me on the event day!
