Step by Step
1
Take two white tall thin cards and stick the right inner and the left outer parts of the cards together to create a tri-fold card.
2
Fold together so that each panel overlaps. Mark 3cm from the left on the top of the card, and 3cm down the left side of the card. Using a ruler and a craft knife, join the two marks and cut. Repeat this on the right side. This will create the tag top. See template for more details!
3
Take the orange floral paper from the Papermania flowery paper pack and trim to fit the two outer panels. Mat this onto orange cardstock to create thin borders and set aside.
4
Take a second piece of the paper and select flowers to decoupage with 3D foam pads as shown.
5
For the middle panel of the card, take dark yellow cardstock and cut to the same size as the patterned paper. Mat onto orange cardstock as before.
6
Transfer outline sticker butterflies onto this dark yellow cardstock lightly. Dust over the top with orange chalk and repeat this process to create a butterfly pattern. To fix the chalk so that it does not smudge, lightly spray a fixative or hairspray over the top. Using the fine nib on an orange whispers strokes pen, go around one side of the butterflies to create a shadow, as shown.
7
Stamp 'Happy Mother’s Day' separately onto white cardstock using Ink it up! pumpkin ink and emboss with holographic powder.
8
Trim each word to size and ink up around the edges with a pumpkin ink pad.
9
Fix to the centre panel of the card using 3D foam pads and embellish with self adhesive pearls. At the top of each panel fasten a gem brad before fixing each panel to the card base.
10
Finally, apply Anita’s 3D clear gloss to the decoupaged flowers for a raised glossy finish.
