And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Step by Step

1

Cut the acetate to 14.5 x 29cm. Fold in half and sharpen the crease with a bone folder. Punch or pierce two small holes 3cm either side of the centre for the ribbon to slot through.

2

Stick the large stack of gift boxes outline stickers onto co-ordinating patterned papers and carefully cut around each one. Use a different paper for the centre box to add contrast. Repeat this with one of the smaller perfume bottle outline stickers.

3

Take a piece of white cardstock and trim to 14.5cm x 10cm. Score at 2.5cm intervals, then mountain and valley fold, remembering to sharpen the creases. This will create the step in the centre of the card.

4

Add strips of co-ordinating patterned papers from the Boysenberry A5 Paper pack to the panels of the steps.

5

Cut a 9cm x 9cm piece of white cardstock, ink the edges with pink ink and stick to a larger piece of pink cardstock, trim the pink to leave a small border then ink the edges of the pink card with the same pink ink. Punch or pierce two small holes, 1.5cm from either side of the centre of the pink card for the ribbon to thread through. Stick the large show and handbag outline sticker to the white card and colour with the kurecolour pale pinks pens.

6

On the reverse of the topper you have just created, stick a Happy Birthday outline sticker.

7

To assemble this card, add ds tape to the front of the first step and to the back of the last one, attach the ends of the acetate to each side, making sure your steps are facing the right way. Cover the front and back of the steps with more strips of paper from the Boysenberry A5 paper pack, so you don’t see the ds tape.

8

Thread ribbon through the topper and carefully thread this through the holes in the acetate, then make your bow, making sure your topper is sitting at the desired height.

9

Finish off by adding small heart outline stickers in a ‘floaty’ effect on the bottom left and top right areas on the acetate on the front of the card. Colour the acetate inside these hearts with the kurecolour pens.

10

Attach the stack of gift boxes and the perfume bottle as shows, using foam pads for added dimension. Then add glitter as to add even more glamour to this very feminine card!
