Step by Step

1

Take two sheets from the A4 paper pack with the ‘mmmm … cakes’ written on it.

2

From one of the sheets cut out all the cakes and around the ‘mmmm … cakes’, leave to one side.

3

Take a 4 inch strip of pale blue paper and edge it with the leafy lacy punch before adhering to the top part of the page, lining it up with the top edge of the red scallop on the paper.

4

Take a 3.75 inch strip of strawberry paper and ink with red ink, adhere on the pale blue paper.

5

Cut a 1.75 inch strip of green paper and adhere to the layout.

6

Cut a 1.75 inch strip of green paper and adhere to the layout.

7

Mat a 6 x 4 photo on to red paper from the pack and edge with the peel off outline stickers. For this layout I have added a wee bow to the hat. Adhere this to the right hand side of the layout.

8

Mat two notelets together and write your journaling. Adhere to the left side of the photo with some of the Summer Bloom petals to the right hand bottom corner.

9

Adhere with foam pads the extra cakes you cut out at the beginning and the ‘mmmm … cakes’ so you create a decoupage.

10

Finish by adding some silver adhesives stones above the photo and your title.

I have always been 'crafty' and while sitting with my gran when I was younger I admired all she did and said to myself that I wanted to create things like her. I am just a girl who has been let loose with paper and scissors. Can I make a mess ... You sure bet I can! I am a freelance designer for docrafts and enjoy creating projects for the Creativity! Magazine, Creativity! Club TV and demos.
