I used to love walking until around 1994 when I started having problems with my back ( degenerative disc disease) and was medically retired from the theatre after 21 years. I now have Agoraphobia and SAD. Being diabetic I helped to start up a diabetic group in Launceston, Cornwall, and also a crafting group in my local village until I moved to Sussex. Earlier this year (2012) I spent a month in hospital due to heart problems and still attend regular checkups.
