This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Cover the front of a square white card with the Happy Birthday paper.

2

Trim a square of purple paper to measure 11.5cm and layer onto 2 shades of purple cardstock. Glue at an angle on the front of the card. Line the inside of the card with textured cardstock.

3

Using the inside edge of the middle sized template of the Xcut shape cutter, cut a circle all the way through the layers and the front of the card. Go slowly and make several passes to cut through all the layers.

4

Add a silver circle glitteration frame to fit the aperture and add large number stickers in the centre.

5

Assemble the Country Companions hedgehog decoupage and position overlapping the aperture on the left hand side of the card.

6

Mount a greeting panel to the bottom right using 3D foam pads.

7

Stamp the balloons and bunting and colour in using the watercolour pencils. Cut out and position as shown using 3D foam pads.

8

Add a message greeting below the bunting.

9

Add adhesive stone to the corners of the patterned paper panel and to the greeting.

10

To finish add some 3D Gloss to the wellies and flowers on the decoupage and leave to dry.
