DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Trim two borders from the A4 sheet of green foiled paper, each measuring 6cm deep. Fringe the bottom edge and glue across a 12x12 sheet of the lined Kraft cardstock to make a continuous border. Trim off the excess.

2

Trim two strips of the striped paper measuring 10cm deep. Arrange across the page overlapping the top of the fringed strip. Repeat with strips of the red gingham paper and tuck behind. Add a pair of photos on top.

3

Add a dome border sticker either side of the page and add the ribbon coloured sticker on top either side.

4

Add your title using Pampered Pets cardstock stickers above the photos and Forever Friends below. Add a sticker saying ‘lovely’ to complete the title.

5

Layer a square heart dome sticker onto white card. Cut out and add to the right hand side of the title.

6

Add a large Forever Friends character sticker to the bottom right corner of the page and add your journalling below the photos using a white gel pen.

7

Add a flurry of white snowflake stickers and accent your page with clear adhesive stones to complete.

Scrapbooking satisfies my daily need for a creative outlet, it complements my other loves, photography and my Newfoundland dogs perfectly!
