Step by Step
1
Take a sheet of patterned cardstock from the kit as your layout base. Cut a rectangle 8" x 11" from one of the plainer papers in the kit and stick to the left hand side of the layout. Doodle a border around the edge of the paper.
2
Cut a rectangle of paper 4.5" x 9.5", create a scalloped edge on the right hand side and stick across the paper at the bottom of the layout.
3
Cut a rectangle of co-ordinating paper 11" x 1.5", round the corners on one end and stick across the bottom of the layout overlapping the plain and patterned paper.
4
Cut a smaller rectangle 2.5" x 1.5" from the same co-ordinating paper and stick in the top left hand corner overlapping the plain paper.
5
Mount your photographs onto co-ordinating cardstock and adhere to the layout so that they overlap the strip of paper at the bottom (the brown striped one). Write your journalling onto paper and ink the edges with chalk ink, attach them to your layout as shown.
6
Add your desired title to the right of the journalling strips and outline the stickers with a journalling pen to emphasize them.
7
Finally, adhere the jewels along the bottom strip of patterned paper to complete the layout.
