Step by Step

1

To make the bag charm - Join three drop charms onto lengths of silver chain using jump rings. Attach all three and the large circle element onto a jump ring.

2

Add the small round connector to the same jump ring above.

3

Add a lobster claw clasp at the top using a jump ring.

4

To make the necklace – Repeats the steps for making the bag charm, leaving off the lobster claw clasp.

5

Cut two lengths of black cord to measure 35cm long. Attach pair of ends into the leather connectors by pressing down the edges of the clasp over the cord.

6

Tie a double knot in the centre.

7

Cut silver chain to measure 40cm. Find the centre and use a jump ring to secure the centre of the chain through the knot and through the charm section created in step 4.

8

Lay the necklace flat and ascertain how far along the chain the leather section reaches. Use a jump ring at this point to attach the leather fasteners to the chain on either side.

9

Add a toggle at each end of the chain.

Hi there! My earliest memory of crafting is sitting with my Nan embroidering when I was tiny. Since then I’ve enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, & a multitude of paper-crafting techniques. I have been making cards for years but really became hooked when I was introduced to heat embossing. I’ve been addicted to paper, brads, ribbon, stamps, beads, wire…. ever since! I’m really looking forward to meeting you to show you what you can achieve with all the wonderful products available to you!
