Step by Step

1

Trim a piece of patterned Chatsworth paper to 12.5cm square. Ink round the edge with Rouge cats eye from the Rose Petals Queue.

2

Adhere patterned paper to a piece of brown cardstock sized to leave a small border around the patterned paper. Edge with Glitterations strips. Tie ribbon round the base with bow positioned as in picture and adhere to card blank

3

Cut a piece of pearlescent cardstock 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches. Using the colours of the Rose Petals Queue build up the background colour blending the colours from the lightest to the darkest. Finally blend in brown ink from the Chocolate and Blueberries Queue.

4

Trim brown cardstock to leave a narrow border round the inked panel and again edge with glitterations strips.

5

Ink the chipboard shapes as with the pearlescent card. Using the scrolled design stamp randomly over the chipboard shapes.

6

Attach the inked panel to the card blank as shown with 3d foam tape.

7

Finally stick on the chipboard shapes and decorate with gold shimmer dots.

Hi there! My earliest memory of crafting is sitting with my Nan embroidering when I was tiny. Since then I’ve enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, & a multitude of paper-crafting techniques. I have been making cards for years but really became hooked when I was introduced to heat embossing. I’ve been addicted to paper, brads, ribbon, stamps, beads, wire…. ever since! I’m really looking forward to meeting you to show you what you can achieve with all the wonderful products available to you!
