DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Trim blue card to measure 12.5cm by 12.5cm. Distress the edges and add a white gel pen doodled border.

2

Trim a curve of grey card to fit across the bottom right corner to represent a moon. Pass through the Big Shot in the embossing folder to add texture. Sand lightly and glue in place on top of the blue card. Glue centrally onto a square Kraft card.

3

Apply each of the Monsters and the space ship stickers onto acetate. Cut out and arrange the monsters across the moon using 3D foam pads to make then stand out.

4

Use a card spring to mount the space ship in space.

5

Add some planet and star stickers.

6

Add ‘Happy Birthday’ using the alphabet stickers.

7

Ink around all the edges of the card with white ink.

Scrapbooking satisfies my daily need for a creative outlet, it complements my other loves, photography and my Newfoundland dogs perfectly!
