Step by Step

To make the necklace – Thread a black shell bead onto a headpin and turn the end to a loop.

2

Take a single link of oval link chain and attach the beaded headpin to the large butterfly charm.

3

Cut beading with to your chosen length and attach a jump ring to a loop at one end using a crimp bead.

4

Thread on a black shell bead and secure below with a crimp bead.

5

Leave a gap and secure a pink shell bead between two more crimp beads. Repeat using alternate colours of shell beads.

6

As you approach the centre of the necklace, attach a crimp bead, a pink shell bead, the pendant section (using the chain link), another pink bead and a crimp bead.

7

Complete the second half of the necklace to match the first.

8

To make the bracelet – use the same beading technique to create a matching bracelet.

9

Once the strand is complete add a lobster claw clasp at one end and a chain extender and a toggle at the other end.

10

To make the earrings – Thread a shell bead onto a head pin and turn the end to a loop.

11

Open a jump ring and thread on the beaded headpin, the earring finding and toggle clasp (the t-bar section) so that it hangs inside the jump ring.

12

Repeat for a second earring.

Hi there! My earliest memory of crafting is sitting with my Nan embroidering when I was tiny. Since then I’ve enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, & a multitude of paper-crafting techniques. I have been making cards for years but really became hooked when I was introduced to heat embossing. I’ve been addicted to paper, brads, ribbon, stamps, beads, wire…. ever since! I’m really looking forward to meeting you to show you what you can achieve with all the wonderful products available to you!
