Step by Step

1

Cut a piece of Grassroots card 12cm square and Pink Parfait Leaves Paper 11.5cm square. Edge each piece with Orchid Pastel ink before layering the leaves centrally on top of the green cardstock.

2

Cut Red Hot Gingham paper 5 x 9 cm and Love potion 3.5 x 8.5cm. Attach to the base panel, off centre from each other, as shown in the photograph. Following the lines on the gingham paper, attach two white glitterations border strips.

3

Cut a further piece of Grassroots card stock 8 x 2.5cm. Along each edge attach the large glitterations dots so that they overlap the edge forming a scallop design. Trim the excess from the edges. Adhere a strip of Red Hot ribbon round the middle of the card, before attaching the whole panel as shown.

4

Open the stems of a co-ordinating glitter brad and feed round the centre of a Red Hot bow. Attach through the green panel from step 3 in line with the glitteration strips attached to the gingham paper.

5

Attach the finished background to your card blank.

6

Attach alternating sizes of adhesive mosaic gems, following the glitteration borders.

7

Stamp one rose image and three leaves. Colour with water colour pencils and blend to with water to give a painted effect. Cut out each element and attach to the card as shown, using silicone glue for dimension as required.

Hi there! My earliest memory of crafting is sitting with my Nan embroidering when I was tiny. Since then I’ve enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, & a multitude of paper-crafting techniques. I have been making cards for years but really became hooked when I was introduced to heat embossing. I’ve been addicted to paper, brads, ribbon, stamps, beads, wire…. ever since! I’m really looking forward to meeting you to show you what you can achieve with all the wonderful products available to you!
